Building Hope and Homes: Neighborhood Missions of Morgan County
We are so excited to shine a spotlight on Neighborhood Missions of Morgan County! This incredible, volunteer-driven team is all about showing God’s love in practical ways by helping local families with essential home repairs and maintenance. Whether it’s hammering nails to build a wheelchair ramp or moving furniture to turn a house into a home, this group is dedicated to ensuring no one in our community has to face these burdens alone.
Over the last five years, they have been busy bees, assisting over 300 families! It’s not just about the construction, though; it’s about the connection. By stepping into someone’s backyard or living room, these volunteers are building relationships and sharing the hope of Christ one project at a time. We’d love for you to see the impact for yourself—check out the video below to hear some of the amazing stories from the field!
“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:15-17
