Get in the Game: Thanking Our MVPs and Drafting the Next Class
At Covenant Park, our volunteers are the real MVPs, and we’re getting ready to build our roster for the spring season! We’re hosting a special, football-themed evening to celebrate our incredible current team members and recruit new volunteers who are ready to get in the game. This is all about thanking those who serve and highlighting the different teams where you can make a difference.
Signing Day is your official invitation to be “drafted” onto one of our amazing ministry teams for the January-May season. Whether your talents are in greeting new faces, rocking babies in the nursery, serving coffee, or helping behind the scenes with tech, there is a perfect position waiting for you. Come discover where you can use your unique gifts to be part of something bigger than yourself!

⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
👥 Who: Current and prospective volunteers, childcare not provided
🍽️ Dinner: Provided with registration (tickets will be provided at check-in)
✍️ Registration: Let us know you plan to attend by November 11! This will make sure you get dinner tickets.

Where Can You Serve at Covenant Park?
Are you looking for a team to join? We have so many incredible ministry teams you can be a part of here at CPC! Whether your passion is welcoming guests with a warm smile, helping with the next generation in our kids’ ministry, or working behind the scenes to make Sunday mornings happen, there’s a perfect position waiting for you.
Many of our team leaders will be at Signing Day and would love to talk with you about how your unique gifts can contribute to CPC. Come find your spot on the team!
- Café – serve refreshments on Sundays and special events
- Kids’ Ministry – work with our youngest children ages infant through 5th grade
- Card Ministry – send a handwritten note to support our congregation and community
- Celebrate Recovery – support for all hurts, habits and hang-ups
- Communion – serve refreshments on Sundays and special events
- Concert – volunteer with special concerts a few times a year
- Connect Point – help guide and answer questions to guests and congregation on Sunday mornings
- Fellowship/Meal – help prepare or serve meals at church fellowships or special events
- Foster Care – support foster care families by volunteering to offer childcare or help with special events
- Greeting – greet and welcome guests and the congregation with a smiling face
- Kenny’s Care Team – deliver meals to those in our congregation and community as a means of support
- Men’s Ministry – work along side other men in the church to build a strong community
- Missions – serve our local community and beyond through different projects
- Neighborhood Missions – volunteer to help with projects for those in need throughout our community
- Operation Christmas Child – organize and serve during our yearly campaign and collection week
- Parking – direct guests and congregation for parking on Sunday mornings and at special events
- Property & Grounds – help keep our building and property looking sharp and well maintained
- Setup/Breakdown – help with moving chairs and tables before or after events
- Sound/AVL – serve with our back of the house team who keeps Sunday mornings running from lights to live steam
- Usher – greet and help guests find seats or other locations in the church
- Women’s Ministry – work along side other men in the church to build a strong community
- Worship – serve with our musical talents alongside instrumentalists, singers, or the choir
