Current and prospective LifeGroup Facilitators are invited to join us for lunch and a learning session after the 11AM service on August 27. Childcare and lunch will be provided.
What exactly is a “Facilitator”? A Facilitator is a man, woman, or couple who helps to organize a group’s gathering such as meeting dates and locations and helps lead the group through a study. We know that leading a study can be scary or feel overwhelming, but we have Right Now Media to help with that! Most study groups choose a study series based on their materials which is often led by a video and accompanied by a study guide with questions. See, that doesn’t seem so scary!
What Groups do we currently have? We have groups for students, singles, married, adults with young kids, adults with high school aged kids, empty nesters, widows, etc. Check out our Groups page to see our current listings. We also have several groups not included on this list who are at capacity, a great example of why we need more Facilitators!
How do we recruit people for our group? We will have a Group Launch on September 10 and will be making a big effort to get families not in a LifeGroup plugged into one. Groups usually consist between 5-6 families.
Please register by 8/20 so we can prepare materials and food. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jeff Rogers at jeff@covenantparkchurch.org or call the church office.
