Building Update – 8/22/24
Take a look at the progress update for August 22! Interior work continues. Concrete pads/sidewalks are being installed at entrances and exits.
Neighborhood Missions – Donations Needed
The Morgan County Neighborhood Missions Team is running low on appliances that are given to local people in need. This is a wonderful mission that CPC is directly involved with.
Items needed most at this time are:
- Washers
- Dryers
- Stoves
- Counter microwaves
- Refrigerators
*appliances must be in good working condition as we are not equipped to repair them before distribution*
If you have any of these items that you would like to donate, please call Donald Smith at 404-754-4842 or Don Krup at 678-227-4765 to arrange for pick up. Also, if you know of someone who is in need of basic home repairs or furniture/appliances and can not afford them, please let us know that as well.
Christ Thru Baseball Mission Trip Update
Our mission team has returned from a life changing experience with Christ Thru Baseball. Selena Swafford said “Watching these young men come to know Jesus while getting to play the game they love was awesome! 50+ boys gave their life to Christ, 9 baptisms, an abundance of new friendships formed and my heart was filled with so much joy it was so hard to leave.”

Take a look at the progress update for July 17! Most interior walls have been primed and ready for paint. Lots of work still going on in the sanctuary. Stone work is being done on the outside of the building.

Take a look at the progress update for May 13 – Dry wall continues to be installed and almost all the dirt that was at the front entrance has been moved and leveled out.
