I Have Decided: 2026 Student Winter Retreat
Covenant Park Student Ministry is excited to host our 2026 Winter Retreat! It’s going to be a great time for our students to worship and grow together. The retreat will hosted at Covenant Park Church. It will begin Friday evening and end Saturday night. The theme this year is, “I Have Decided”. We’ll be focusing on what it truly means to live for Jesus. The Cross Before Me – The World Behind Me – No Turning Back!
The weekend will host three main sessions with worship, preaching, a local mission project, and time to grow together as a church and community. With the retreat being local, students will return to their own homes at the conclusion of each evening session, both Friday and Saturday. Meals will be provided Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday night. We will also be doing a local mission project on Saturday, after lunch. We are going to divide our students into groups and send them into the local neighborhoods in Morgan County. Their goal will be to go from house to house, collecting money for the Memorial Garden of Avett Jackson and Bennett Rabern, which will be built at Morgan County Middle School. This project is super important to our church and the community, and we can’t wait to raise the funds to make this project blossom! We will also have a big group recreation time, where the students can compete and get crazy! It’s going to be a great weekend and we hope to see you then. Also, don’t forget to invite your friends. It doesn’t matter if they go to another church or don’t go to church at all, this weekend will be one that makes an impact on everyone!

Permissions & Parent Drivers
📋 Required Permission Form To make our local mission project happen, parents must download, fill out, and return the Off-Campus Transportation Release Form. This gives your student permission to leave campus for the activity. Please note: Students who do not have a signed waiver will not be able to leave campus for the mission project.
🚗 Drivers Needed! We need some awesome parents to help transport students and be present during the mission project! If you are willing to drive and hang out with us on Saturday from 12:45 PM – 3:45 PM, please let us know. We’d love to have you be a part of this impactful afternoon!
