Wednesday Nights at CPC with a Special Reception for Matt and Leslie Watkins

On, September 3 we will have our monthly Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner with a special event! Come and celebrate with us as we honor Matt and Leslie Watkins for their eleven years of faithful service to Covenant Park Church. Since the very beginning, Matt has been at the heart of our worship, leading us closer to God each week. It's hard to imagine what our church would be like without their dedicated and loving presence. We're so grateful for the legacy they've built here, and we want to celebrate them in a big way.

We're inviting the entire church family to join us for a special evening of fellowship and a time to show our appreciation. We're asking everyone to bring a card with their favorite memory of Matt and Leslie, and a gift if you feel led to do so. Let's celebrate them with an abundance of love and gratitude!

We will have a taco bar for dinner starting at 6:00pm. If you plan on joining us for dinner, please register online so we can plan for food accordingly.  There is no cost for dinner, but donations are welcome.

Wednesday night gatherings are in full swing! We're so excited to spend some intentional time in fellowship, fun, and faith with all of you.

Our schedule monthly schedule is designed to help us connect and grow together. We typically have a fellowship-style event on the first Wednesday of each month (or the second, depending on school breaks and holidays), and the following Wednesdays are dedicated to a Bible study. We ask that on our first Wednesday of the month that you register for dinner so we can adequately prepare.

Our fellowship team will provide some sweet treats and coffee for these nights, and you're also welcome to bring your own dinner to enjoy in the lobby before we dive into God's Word in the sanctuary. It's a wonderful chance to deepen our understanding of the Bible and connect with each other. Our middle and high school students will join us for the Bible study, while our younger children will have their own special devotion and playtime with Ty and Leanne, with nursery care provided for our littlest ones. It's going to be a refreshing time for everyone!

Here is what to expect for August and September:

  • August 13: Church-wide fellowship with hamburger cookout. Donations accepted to offset the cost.
  • August 20: Fellowship followed by Bible study.
  • August 27: Fellowship followed by Bible study.
  • September 3: Church-wide fellowship with dinner. Donations accepted to offset the cost. Please register online if you plan to eat dinner.
  • September 10: Fellowship followed by Bible study.
  • September 17: Fellowship followed by Bible study.
  • September 24: Fellowship followed by Bible study.
