DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. DESCRIPTION:CPC will be partnering with Christ Thru Baseball to return to Nicaragua in summer 2025 . Last year\, several of our congregation had the chance to go and be the hands and feet of Jesus while supporting this mission. Curious about this mission trip or interested in participating in international missions? We’d love for you to join us at the informational meeting on Sunday\, September 22 at 12:30 in the student ministry room. Lunch will be provided. \nMore about Christ Thru Baseball:\nFellow Morgan County residents\, Lisa and Shane Daniel\, are the directors Baseball thru Christ which they founded in 2019. When first visiting Nicaragua on a mission trip to build churches\, Shane and Lisa discovered a group of boys building a chicken fighting pit. When asking them why\, they said they had nothing better to do. The boys liked to play baseball but did not have equipment. The Daniels committed to bringing baseball equipment in the next year. In the first tournament\, seven teams played\, were fed\, clothed\, housed\, and were transported across the country. God’s vision of using baseball as a tool for reaching young men for Him was then established. DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. SUMMARY:Women's Life Group
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Life Group meets Mondays at 11:00am – 1:00pm for a time of prayer\, praise\, fellowship\, support and confidentiality.  All ages welcome! \nThe group will kick off a new study “Twelve Extraordinary Women (How God Shaped Women of the Bible and What He Wants to Do with You)’ by John MacArthur on Monday\, September 9 .  Each week the participants will read a chapter of the book and review the study guide for the corresponding chapter.  The following Monday the group will have prayer\, praise and open discussion on materials reviewed the previous week.  This is a 14 week study and the cost of materials is $11. SUMMARY:Student Ministry Sunday Night Service
DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. They have fun and learn about the unique opportunities God affords them as they approach a time of transition in their lives. \nAugust – December Schedule:\nMeet each Sunday starting August 11 and ending December 8 with the exception of the following: \n\nSeptember 1 – Labor Day\nOctober 6 – Fall break\nNovember 24 – Thanksgiving break\n\nPay for Dinner
