DESCRIPTION:All children 3 and 4 years old along with kindergarten through 5th grade students\, have the option to perform in this year’s Christmas Program\, “A Glorious Night”\, on December 15th at 5:00pm. This is always an exciting and special performance for the children (and parents!) and we hope that your children will be involved. \nPractice Requirements \n\n3 and 4 year-olds will practice on Sunday mornings during their class time. They will have two additional practices Wednesdays\, December 4 and 11 at 6:00pm in the sanctuary.\nAll K-5th grade students must attend the following:\n\n\nSunday\, October 27\nSunday\, November 3\nSunday\, November 10\nSunday\, November 17\nSunday\, December 1\nWednesday\, December 4\nSunday\, December 8\nWednesday\, December 11\n\n\n\nSunday practices will be 5:00-6:00pm in the kid’s wing. DESCRIPTION:We will have a baby dedication on November 17 during the 11:30am service. Family and friends are encouraged to join you for this special event. If you are interested in participating\, please fill out the online dedication form by November 10. \nWhat is a Baby Dedication?\nBaby Dedication is a ceremony for infants to young children\, in which a Christian father and/or mother make a commitment before The Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. As a parent\, you have the greatest influence in your child’s spiritual upbringing\, teaching your child what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. \nResponsibilities Involved in a Baby Dedication\nChristian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to The Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way\, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God and His Word. Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child in God’s Word\, demonstrating an example of godliness\, disciplining according to God’s ways\, praying earnestly for the child\, and faithfully bringing them to church. \nThe church body also commits to partner with the parents in the faith development of the child. This is a truly meaningful and affirming covenant event through which the church agrees to support and encourage families as they seek to raise their children in Christ. \nIf you are interested in participating\, please fill out the online dedication form by November 10. Through sharing your experiences\, receiving encouragement\, and applying biblical principles\, you can learn to overcome your struggles and live a life of victory. \nHow does Celebrate Recovery Work?\nCelebrate Recovery is based on the Eight Principles of the Beatitudes\, which provide a framework for understanding and addressing our struggles. Through weekly meetings\, we share our experiences\, strengths\, and hopes with others who are also on the journey of recovery. SUMMARY:Student Ministry Sunday Night Service
DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. They have fun and learn about the unique opportunities God affords them as they approach a time of transition in their lives. \nAugust – December Schedule:\nMeet each Sunday starting August 11 and ending December 8 with the exception of the following: \n\nSeptember 1 – Labor Day\nOctober 6 – Fall break\nNovember 24 – Thanksgiving break\n\nPay for Dinner

DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. SUMMARY:Women's Life Group

SUMMARY:Student Ministry Sunday Night Service
DESCRIPTION:The CPC Student Ministry meets weekly on Sunday nights from 6-8PM.  They have dinner (bring a $5 donation to cover the costs)\, worship\, a sermon\, and LifeGroup breakouts. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. The boys and girls split off to have their own lessons geared towards their own situations. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School group after Sunday Nights break out into LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. They have fun and learn about the unique opportunities God affords them as they approach a time of transition in their lives. \nAugust – December Schedule:\nMeet each Sunday starting August 11 and ending December 8 with the exception of the following: \n\nSeptember 1 – Labor Day\nOctober 6 – Fall break\nNovember 24 – Thanksgiving break\n\nPay for Dinner

SUMMARY:Kids Christmas Program Practice Schedule
DESCRIPTION:All children 3 and 4 years old along with kindergarten through 5th grade students\, have the option to perform in this year’s Christmas Program\, “A Glorious Night”\, on December 15th at 5:00pm. This is always an exciting and special performance for the children (and parents!) and we hope that your children will be involved. \nPractice Requirements \n\n3 and 4 year-olds will practice on Sunday mornings during their class time. SUMMARY:Kids Ministry Volunteer Training
DESCRIPTION:All CPC Kids Ministry adult and student volunteers\, that have signed up to help with our Sprouts Preschool and Treehouse Kids ministries\, please plan to attend one of the mandatory volunteer trainings. This training will be offered October 23 at 6:00pm and October 27 during the 11:30am service. Please be sure to register for the training you plan to attend. A meal will be offered at each training\, and you can plan to be there no longer than an hour and a half. \nThis training will equip our CPK volunteers with everything they need to feel comfortable volunteering. It will also create a well-rounded ministry for all kids who attend. Please be sure to bring a copy of your driver’s license as we will perform a background check for each volunteer. Student volunteers will have a separate form to fill out as well. We are excited to welcome this new season of ministry as we move into our new church facility. We have many changes being made that will only better what we have started in our CPK’s ministry.
