DESCRIPTION:Help Our Mission: Giving Sundays at Covenant Park Church\nWhat a year! We have already accomplished quite a bit since our first Sunday in the new building on January 12. From muddy cars to hydroseeding\, our new facility is being filled each week. We have had more decisions to accept Christ in the first six months of 2025 than we did in all of 2024. The Lord is moving! Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Covenant Park Church and throughout Morgan County. \nI invite you to join me in praying for our next Giving Sundays on August 10 and September 14. Currently\, we have a total debt of $4.3 million\, which consists of two loans with the Bank of Madison\, one at $3.8 million (Building construction\, HVAC\, plumbing\, electrical\, parking lot\, etc.) and one at $500\,000 (Audio\, Visual and Lighting/AVL). Both of these loans will convert to a traditional mortgage at the end of September. Our goal is to pay off the AVL loan of $500\,000 in its entirety before it converts to a mortgage\, to God be the glory! Will you join us in helping make this happen? \nRomans 13:8 tells us that we are to “owe no one anything\, except to love each other\, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.” Church\, thank you for helping live this verse out each week. Our hope is that by September 14\, we will be $500\,000 closer to paying off all debts at CPC. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Nights at CPC\nWednesday night gatherings are in full swing! We’re so excited to spend some intentional time in fellowship\, fun\, and faith with all of you. \nOur schedule monthly schedule is designed to help us connect and grow together. We typically have a fellowship-style event on the first Wednesday of each month (or the second\, depending on school breaks and holidays)\, and the following Wednesdays are dedicated to a Bible study. We ask that on our first Wednesday of the month that you register for dinner so we can adequately prepare. \nOur fellowship team will provide some sweet treats and coffee for these nights\, and you’re also welcome to bring your own dinner to enjoy in the lobby before we dive into God’s Word in the sanctuary. It’s a wonderful chance to deepen our understanding of the Bible and connect with each other. Our middle and high school students will join us for the Bible study\, while our younger children will have their own special devotion and playtime with Ty and Leanne\, with nursery care provided for our littlest ones. It’s going to be a refreshing time for everyone! \nHere is what to expect for the fall semester: \n\n🗓️ Dates:\n\nAugust 13: Church-wide fellowship with hamburger cookout. Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. It’s hard to imagine what our church would be like without their dedicated and loving presence. We’re so grateful for the legacy they’ve built here\, and we want to celebrate them in a big way. \nWe’re inviting the entire church family to join us for a special evening of fellowship and a time to show our appreciation. We’re asking everyone to bring a card with their favorite memory of Matt and Leslie\, and a gift if you feel led to do so. Let’s celebrate them with an abundance of love and gratitude! \nWe will have a taco bar for dinner starting at 6:00pm. Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Nights at CPC\nWednesday night gatherings are in full swing! We’re so excited to spend some intentional time in fellowship\, fun\, and faith with all of you. \nOur schedule monthly schedule is designed to help us connect and grow together. We typically have a fellowship-style event on the first Wednesday of each month (or the second\, depending on school breaks and holidays)\, and the following Wednesdays are dedicated to a Bible study. We ask that on our first Wednesday of the month that you register for dinner so we can adequately prepare. \nOur fellowship team will provide some sweet treats and coffee for these nights\, and you’re also welcome to bring your own dinner to enjoy in the lobby before we dive into God’s Word in the sanctuary. It’s a wonderful chance to deepen our understanding of the Bible and connect with each other. Our middle and high school students will join us for the Bible study\, while our younger children will have their own special devotion and playtime with Ty and Leanne\, with nursery care provided for our littlest ones. It’s going to be a refreshing time for everyone! \nHere is what to expect for August and September: \n\n🗓️ Dates:\n\nAugust 13: Church-wide fellowship with hamburger cookout. Donations accepted to offset the cost.\nAugust 20: Fellowship followed by Bible study.\nAugust 27: Fellowship followed by Bible study.\nSeptember 3: Church-wide fellowship with dinner. Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through.
