Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. Whether you’re dealing with addiction\, codependency\, relationship issues\, or any other life challenge\, Celebrate Recovery provides a safe and supportive environment where you can find freedom from your past. Through sharing your experiences\, receiving encouragement\, and applying biblical principles\, you can learn to overcome your struggles and live a life of victory. \nHow does Celebrate Recovery Work?\nCelebrate Recovery is based on the Eight Principles of the Beatitudes\, which provide a framework for understanding and addressing our struggles. Through weekly meetings\, we share our experiences\, strengths\, and hopes with others who are also on the journey of recovery. This quarter\, we are diving into Kelly Minter’s study\, Finding God Faithful\, a powerful journey through the life of Joseph. Through his story\, we will see how God’s provision is always enough\, His presence is never-failing\, and His purpose for our lives is absolutely unstoppable. Whether you’ve been part of this group for years or you are looking for a fresh start in the New Year\, this is a wonderful space to find encouragement and grow alongside other women. \nWe all face seasons that feel like “pits” or “prisons\,” much like Joseph did\, but we can rest in the truth that God is weaving a beautiful story through it all. SUMMARY:Student Ministry Winter Retreat
DESCRIPTION:I Have Decided: 2026 Student Winter Retreat\nCovenant Park Student Ministry is excited to host our 2026 Winter Retreat! It’s going to be a great time for our students to worship and grow together. The retreat will hosted at Covenant Park Church. It will begin Friday evening and end Saturday night. The theme this year is\, “I Have Decided”. We’ll be focusing on what it truly means to live for Jesus. The Cross Before Me – The World Behind Me – No Turning Back!  \n  \nThe weekend will host three main sessions with worship\, preaching\, a local mission project\, and time to grow together as a church and community. With the retreat being local\, students will return to their own homes at the conclusion of each evening session\, both Friday and Saturday. Meals will be provided Friday night\, Saturday afternoon\, and Saturday night. We will also be doing a local mission project on Saturday\, after lunch. We are going to divide our students into groups and send them into the local neighborhoods in Morgan County. Their goal will be to go from house to house\, collecting money for the Memorial Garden of Avett Jackson and Bennett Rabern\, which will be built at Morgan County Middle School. This project is super important to our church and the community\, and we can’t wait to raise the funds to make this project blossom! We will also have a big group recreation time\, where the students can compete and get crazy! It’s going to be a great weekend and we hope to see you then. Also\, don’t forget to invite your friends. Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through.
