DESCRIPTION:We will have a baby dedication on November 17 during the 11:30am service. Family and friends are encouraged to join you for this special event. If you are interested in participating\, please fill out the online dedication form by November 10. \nWhat is a Baby Dedication?\nBaby Dedication is a ceremony for infants to young children\, in which a Christian father and/or mother make a commitment before The Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. As a parent\, you have the greatest influence in your child’s spiritual upbringing\, teaching your child what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. \nResponsibilities Involved in a Baby Dedication\nChristian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to The Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way\, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God and His Word. Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child in God’s Word\, demonstrating an example of godliness\, disciplining according to God’s ways\, praying earnestly for the child\, and faithfully bringing them to church. \nThe church body also commits to partner with the parents in the faith development of the child. This is a truly meaningful and affirming covenant event through which the church agrees to support and encourage families as they seek to raise their children in Christ. \nIf you are interested in participating\, please fill out the online dedication form by November 10. This training will be offered October 23 at 6:00pm and October 27 during the 11:30am service. Please be sure to register for the training you plan to attend. A meal will be offered at each training\, and you can plan to be there no longer than an hour and a half. \nThis training will equip our CPK volunteers with everything they need to feel comfortable volunteering. It will also create a well-rounded ministry for all kids who attend. Please be sure to bring a copy of your driver’s license as we will perform a background check for each volunteer. Student volunteers will have a separate form to fill out as well. We are excited to welcome this new season of ministry as we move into our new church facility. We have many changes being made that will only better what we have started in our CPK’s ministry. The Vision Casting Meeting will be held in the Student Ministry room on Sunday\, August 25 during the 8:30 and 10:00 am services. \nPlease plan to attend worship before or after the meeting. Children will be able to stay in their classrooms while parents attend the meeting.

SUMMARY:Baby Dedication
DESCRIPTION:We will have a baby dedication on May 19 during the 11:30am service.  Family and friends are encouraged to join you for this special event. \nWhat is a Baby Dedication?\nBaby Dedication is a ceremony for infants to young children\, in which a Christian father and/or mother make a commitment before The Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. As a parent\, you have the greatest influence in your child’s spiritual upbringing\, teaching your child what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. \nResponsibilities Involved in a Baby Dedication\nChristian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to The Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way\, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God and His Word.  Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child in God’s Word\, demonstrating an example of godliness\, disciplining according to God’s ways\, praying earnestly for the child\, and faithfully bringing them to church. \nThe church body also commits to partner with the parents in the faith development of the child. This is a truly meaningful and affirming covenant event through which the church agrees to support and encourage families as they seek to raise their children in Christ. \nIf you are interested in participating\, please fill out the online dedication form by May 8. SUMMARY:Kids Christmas Performance
DESCRIPTION:All Toddler\, Pre-k and K-5th Grade Students have the option to perform in this year’s Christmas Performance\, December 17th at 5:00pm.  This is always such a fun performance for the kids (and parents!) and we hope that your children will be involved. \nPractice Requirements \n\nToddler and Pre-K students will practice on Sunday mornings during class leading up to the performance date. Toddler and Pre-K students will not have any additional practices.\nAll K-5th grade students must attend practices on Wednesday November 29th\, December 6th and December 13th.\n\nK-3rd grade students will practice from 6:00pm-6:30pm.\n4th-5th grade students will practice from 6:00pm-7:00pm.\n\n\n\nParents\, please sign up your children and acknowledge the requirements if you plan for them to perform. **You will need to fill out one form per child.** \nAny questions may be directed to the Children’s Director\, Leanne Howell at leanne@covenantparkchurch.org \nSign Up Here
