We are so eager to spend some intentional time in fellowship\, fun\, and faith with all of you. It’s the perfect way to pause in the middle of a chaotic week and center ourselves on Jesus. \nThis semester\, we are embracing a “whole family” approach. Instead of sending everyone off to different rooms\, we will all gather together—from the littlest ones to the grandparents—in the Sanctuary at 6:00PM for a short\, family-style devotional. It is a special opportunity to come together and learn side-by-side with your children! After we finish the devotion\, we will head over to the Student Ministry Room to enjoy dinner together. \nEvent Details: \n⏰ Time: 6:00PM \n📍 Location: Devotional in the sanctuary; dinner in the Student Ministry Room \n💰 Cost: $5 per person ($25 family max); children under 3 are free.  Please only use the family max for those living in your house\, if you need to add extra guests not in your household\, please add $5 per person. \n📝 Registration: Please register weekly so we can prepare enough food! We typically have a fellowship-style event on the first Wednesday of each month (or the second\, depending on school breaks and holidays)\, and the following Wednesdays are dedicated to a Bible study. We ask that on our first Wednesday of the month that you register for dinner so we can adequately prepare. \nOur fellowship team will provide some sweet treats and coffee for these nights\, and you’re also welcome to bring your own dinner to enjoy in the lobby before we dive into God’s Word in the sanctuary. It’s a wonderful chance to deepen our understanding of the Bible and connect with each other. Our middle and high school students will join us for the Bible study\, while our younger children will have their own special devotion and playtime with Ty and Leanne\, with nursery care provided for our littlest ones. It’s going to be a refreshing time for everyone! \nHere is what to expect for the fall semester: \n\n🗓️ Dates:\n\nAugust 13: Church-wide fellowship with hamburger cookout. DESCRIPTION:Help Our Mission: Giving Sundays at Covenant Park Church\nWhat a year! We have already accomplished quite a bit since our first Sunday in the new building on January 12. From muddy cars to hydroseeding\, our new facility is being filled each week. We have had more decisions to accept Christ in the first six months of 2025 than we did in all of 2024. The Lord is moving! Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Covenant Park Church and throughout Morgan County. \nI invite you to join me in praying for our next Giving Sundays on August 10 and September 14. Currently\, we have a total debt of $4.3 million\, which consists of two loans with the Bank of Madison\, one at $3.8 million (Building construction\, HVAC\, plumbing\, electrical\, parking lot\, etc.) and one at $500\,000 (Audio\, Visual and Lighting/AVL). Both of these loans will convert to a traditional mortgage at the end of September. Our goal is to pay off the AVL loan of $500\,000 in its entirety before it converts to a mortgage\, to God be the glory! Will you join us in helping make this happen? \nRomans 13:8 tells us that we are to “owe no one anything\, except to love each other\, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.” Church\, thank you for helping live this verse out each week. Our hope is that by September 14\, we will be $500\,000 closer to paying off all debts at CPC.
