DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the Class of 2026\nThe transition from high school to whatever comes next is such a monumental season of life\, filled with “last times” and “new beginnings.” Our annual Senior Night on May 3 is a dedicated time to hit pause on the busyness of graduation season to laugh over old memories\, share a few tears\, and officially commission our graduates into their next chapter with the full support of their church family. To make the night truly personal\, we’re asking each senior and their family to decorate their own table in the Sanctuary to showcase their unique accomplishments and personality—we’ll provide the tablecloths\, but the rest of the flair is up to you! We also want to walk down memory lane together during a heartfelt video tribute\, so don’t forget to email 20 of your favorite photos of your graduate to Student Pastor Blake Stinnett. \nWe are so incredibly proud of the hard work\, character\, and faith these students have shown throughout their high school careers. Whether they are heading off to college\, starting a trade\, or entering the workforce\, we want them to know they always have a home here. SUMMARY:Student Ministry Winter Retreat
DESCRIPTION:I Have Decided: 2026 Student Winter Retreat\nCovenant Park Student Ministry is excited to host our 2026 Winter Retreat! It’s going to be a great time for our students to worship and grow together. The retreat will hosted at Covenant Park Church. It will begin Friday evening and end Saturday night. The theme this year is\, “I Have Decided”. We’ll be focusing on what it truly means to live for Jesus. The Cross Before Me – The World Behind Me – No Turning Back!  \n  \nThe weekend will host three main sessions with worship\, preaching\, a local mission project\, and time to grow together as a church and community. With the retreat being local\, students will return to their own homes at the conclusion of each evening session\, both Friday and Saturday. Meals will be provided Friday night\, Saturday afternoon\, and Saturday night. We will also be doing a local mission project on Saturday\, after lunch. We are going to divide our students into groups and send them into the local neighborhoods in Morgan County. Their goal will be to go from house to house\, collecting money for the Memorial Garden of Avett Jackson and Bennett Rabern\, which will be built at Morgan County Middle School. This project is super important to our church and the community\, and we can’t wait to raise the funds to make this project blossom! We will also have a big group recreation time\, where the students can compete and get crazy! It’s going to be a great weekend and we hope to see you then. Also\, don’t forget to invite your friends. Our CPC Student Ministry is the perfect spot for you! Every Sunday night\, we gather for an awesome evening designed to help you navigate these unique years of your life with God by your side. Come hang out with us and discover what God has in store for you! Each week\, you’ll experience engaging worship and hear a relevant message. Then\, we’ll break out into LifeGroups\, where you’ll connect with other students your age and dig deeper into discussions about faith and life. \nMiddle School: 6th – 8th grade\nKris\, Kina\, Mac\, and Courtney lead our Middle School LifeGroups. Middle School is a unique time in our students’ lives\, so this group is designed to meet them where they’re at. Boys and girls split off\, tackling topics relevant to them. \nHigh School: 9th – 12th grade\nPastor Blake and Natalie and Travis and Becka Smith lead our High School LifeGroup.  This allows for lessons and discussions that better align with what High School students are going through. DESCRIPTION:Middle School Retreat: Who Are “We” in Christ?\nWe are excited about our annual middle school retreat at North Georgia Christian Camp\, and we can’t wait to see our students there! This year\, we’re building on the question “Who am I in Christ?” and diving into what it means to be part of something bigger. Our theme is “ONE” because when our identity is in Christ\, we become part of a rich and meaningful community—the Church! This weekend is all about growing in our faith\, making new friends\, and discovering how we can change the world together. \nRetreats are an incredible opportunity for students to step away from their normal routine and focus on their relationship with God. It’s a short\, intensive weekend filled with fellowship\, small groups\, and worship. The teaching this year will challenge students to see that being a part of God’s family is a powerful thing. As Paul says in Romans 12:5\, “so we\, though many\, are one body in Christ\, and individually members one of another.” We can’t wait to see what God does! \n\nQuick things to know: \n\n🙋‍♀️ Who: 6-8th Grade Students\n🗓️ When: September 5–7\n📍 Where: North Georgia Christian Camp (531 Christian Camp Lane\, Clarkesville\, GA 30523)\n💰 Cost: $70 per student\, $35 per adult sponsor (includes a t-shirt\, food\, snacks\, and programming)\n\n\nWe need parent chaperones to join us as a leader!
